Kitchen ingredients and their benefits for skin care

There are many kitchen ingredients which when applied to face help in improving skin health. Some of them along with their benefits are listed here:
1) Rose water:- Is a light astringent , it soothes irritated skin. Can be used as an everyday toner.
2) Milk (Unboiled):- Natural cleanser.
3) Yogurt:- Lactic acid fround in yogurt is a natural Alpha Hydroxy acid. When applied to skin yogurt has refreshing and exfoliating properties. It evens out skin complexion.
4) Lime juice:- Helps control sebum. Removes blackheads.
5) Honey:- Natural moisturizer, skin softener.
6) Cucumber:- Cooling effect on skin.
