Colors have always been associated with moods and feelings . They have an effect on how we feel both mentally and physically. Colors unknowingly influence our actions, emotions and the choices we make every day. Here are the meanings of different colors:-
BLACK
It is not a color - it is the absence of all colors. Black represents authority, power, elegance, mystery, style, sophistication, evil, death, sadness.
White
This color is associated with innocence and purity. White represents safety, purity, cleanliness, peace, humility. It is the color of perfection , the color of perfect balance.
YELLOW
The color of sunshine. Yellow represents joy, happiness, optimism, intellect, energy , hope. Dull yellow represents sickness, caution, jealousy, deceit.
RED
The color of fire and blood. Red represents strength, energy, danger, power, determination, passion, desire, romance, love. In India red is the color of purity , the brides outfit is generally in shades of red.
ORANGE
It is the combination of red and yellow. Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, warmth, vibrance, success, encouragement.
GREEN
The color of nature. Green is cooling, soothing and calming.It is associated with health, growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility.
BLUE
The color of sky and sea. Blue represents loyalty, wisdom, peace, tranquility, calm, stability, harmony, unity, trust, truth, confidence.
PURPLE
A combination of blue and red. Purple represents royalty, luxury, ambition, dignity, independence, mystery, magic. Light purple is associated with romance and nostalgia.
